MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PINEVILLE, LOUISIANA HELD
JUNE 13, 2002  

THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PINEVILLE MET IN SPECIAL SESSION ON THE 13^TH DAY OF JUNE, 2002 AT 12:00 NOON.

ITEM 1            Mayor Fields called the meeting to order.

ITEM 2            Mr. Rich Dupree offered the invocation.

ITEM 3            Councilman Wainwright led the Pledge of Allegiance.

ITEM 4            Roll call was as follows:

            Present            Councilman Bishop, Councilman Dorn, Councilman Wainwright

            Absent            Councilwoman Cunningham, Councilwoman Broussard

ITEM 5            On motion by Councilman Wainwright, seconded by Councilman Dorn and passed, it was resolved to accept for publication an ordinance amending the operating budget for the City of Pineville for fiscal year 2001-2002 and other matters with respect thereto.

ITEM 6            On motion by Councilman Wainwright, seconded by Councilman Bishop and passed, it was resolved to accept for publication an ordinance adopting and appropriating budgets for the City of Pineville for fiscal year 2002-2003 and other matters with respect thereto.

On motion made by Councilman Wainwright, seconded by Councilman Dorn it was resolved to add an item to the agenda.

ITEM 6A            On motion made by Councilman Bishop, seconded by Councilman Dorn and passed, it was resolved to call for public hearing at 5:00 p.m. on June 27^th and adopt an ordinance pertaining to the budget at 5:30 p.m. on June 27, 2002.

There being no more business to come before the Council, on motion made by Councilman Dorn, seconded by Councilman Bishop and unanimously passed, the meeting was adjourned.

Rich Dupree offered the benediction.
