The City of Pineville recognizes that its beautiful landscape including its rolling hills and mature trees attracts people to live and work here. The Pineville Tree Board was established by the Mayor and City Council in 2001 to help preserve and enhance its urban forest. The purpose of this website is to show Pineville citizens what is happening in their community regarding the urban forest and to help property owners maintain the health of their trees.
The Pineville Tree Board envisions a healthy community forest which provides multiple benefits to a diverse community. The mission of the Pineville Tree Board is to work with the city government and residents to develop and promote a sustainable community forest.
