In cooperation with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, the City of Pineville and the Pineville Police Department will be hosting a Hunter Safety Certification Program.September 13, 14 & 15, 2012
6:00pm - 8:00pm Thursday & Friday
8:00am - 2:00pm Saturday
The Hunter Education course is FREE. Anyone can participate in the basic student course, but only those persons 10 years of age or older are eligible for certification. This course requires classroom attendance, passing a written test with a score of 75 percent or better, and completing a "live-fire" exercise. Upon completion of the course; students receive a Louisiana Hunter Education Certification Card that is recognized by all other states.
