"The Big Read for Rapides Parish" a community wide reading initiative where the library
works with other community agencies to encourage as many people as possible to read the
same classic American novel.
Join us at Granberry Center and enjoy a talk with Charles Shields, author of an acclaimed biography of Harper Lee. Learn some of the secrets behind the writing of To Kill a Mockingbird and hear Shields' thoughts on why Lee never wrote another major work.
This is the 4th and final event of the month long program.
