Question
IS THERE A REFUND POLICY AT A TAX SALE?
Answer
Refunds are allowed in those instances where it is determined that a tax sale purchaser was ineligible to bid at the tax sale or any parcel was erroneously sold. The tax sale certificate will be cancelled and the certificate holder will be reimbursed the principal amount originally paid. No interest will be due or paid in these instances.
