Details
The Tax Collection proceeds by making statements pertinent to the tax sale and what is require of the tax buyer if he/she purchases a piece of property.
After reading the legal notice as it appears in the paper, the tax collector proceeds by stating the property owner, the property address with a brief description of the property, the tax sale price and demolition or grass cutting costs, if any.
If a customer is interested in a property, he/she raises their auction number. However, if there is more than one party interested in the property, they do have the opportunity to bid down interest in the property.
Once the sale has ended, the tax buyer proceeds to the cashier for payment of property(ies) purchased in the sale.
When the deeds are filed, a copy will be forwarded to the tax buyer.
