Police Reports & Records

Police Reports The Records Bureau is responsible for maintaining all Police Department Records, including arrest reports, incident reports and motor vehicle accident reports (crash reports).  The Records Bureau completes data entry into the department's records management system and handles both officer requests for information and public requests.

How to Obtain a Police Report

Traffic accident reports and police offense reports may be obtained in person at the Records Bureau of the Pineville Police Department during normal duty hours.  Reports are $10.00 each and payable with credit card, debit card, money order or business checks.  Personal checks are NOT accepted.

Records requests may also be submitted by mail to the Records Bureau, Pineville Police Department.  Mailed requests must include:

  1. Date of the accident or offense
  2. Name(s) of complainant and/or victim
  3. Location of accident or offense
  4. Address where report is to be sent
  5. Money Order in the amount of $10.00 made payable to the Pineville Police Department.  Checks are NOT accepted with mailed requests.

How to Obtain Criminal Records

Members of the public may also obtain a summary of their own criminal records involving the Pineville Police Department.  Requests must be made in person by the individual who is the subject of the inquiry.  A valid I.D. must be presented along with payment of $20.00.
